EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

The EMHC assists the priest in giving communion at Mass and bring the Eucharistic Lord to those who are not able to come to mass due to sickness or disability. Membership to the ministry is open to Catholic men who will undergo the requisite formation. If you feel the call of God to serve in this ministry, please feel free to get in touch with Bro. LECTORS AND COMMENTATORS

Members of the ministry are called to proclaim the Word of God, except the Gospel, as lectors or as commentators during the Mass. In some way, they share in the preaching ministry of the priest. Members need to have knowledge and liove of the Scriptures and the Mass. If you feel the calling for this ministry, please contact Atty. Nanie Jacob, head servant..

GREETERS AND COLLECTORS

Members welcome churchgoers in the celebration of the Eucharist. Their smiles reflect the joy of God in seeing His children gather in unity and communion. To ensure that churchgoers will experience a sense of belongingness in the church, members try their best to ensure that they are assisted to their seats, especially those who are physically challenged. SOCIAL SERVICES AND DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY

The ministry is the social arm of the Archdiocese of Manila. It assists in the improvement of the quality of life of the economically disadvantaged families of Barangay West Crame as part of the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the parish through regular programs including medical and dental missions, livelihood projects and environmental care. CATECHETICAL MINISTRY

The goal of the ministry is to “ make Jesus Christ known so that He may be loved” through systematic and renewed evangelization by catechists who have been formed to be qualified, effective and dedicated formators of children, young and adults in all sectors of the parish, especially those in which catechetical instruction is not readily available. FORMATION MINISTRY

Every third Saturday of the month, the ministry holds seminars that enrich the spiritual life of parishioners. For information on the yearly program, please get in touch with Ace Dionisio, Coordinator.

BASIC ECCLESIAL COMMUNITIES (BECs)

BECs are composed of a neighborhood of families living out the Word of God in faith and in love as a way of life. For inquiries on the formation of BECs, please contact Nelia Asis and Anita Tumbali, coordinators.

PARISH MANDATED ORGANIZATIONS

MEN OF ST. JOSEPH

Membership is open to any Catholic man of legal age who is willing to learn and commit himself to practice the virtues of St. Joseph. For futher information, please contact Bro. Raymund Atendido, President.

APOSTLESHIP OF PRAYER

The association propagates the First Friday devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is the only one tasked to pray for the monthly intentions of the Holy Father through its recitation of the daily morning offering. For enrollement to the association, you may contact Sis Flor Santos, President.

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE

CWL is a nationwide Catholic organization of lay women that is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the patronage of Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church with the motto of CHARITY, WORK and LOYALTY. Membership is open to women in accordance with Section 1 Article III of the CWL Constitution and By-Laws. For information, please contact Ms. Rose Uy, President.

LEGION OF MARY (Praesidium Comforter of the Afflicted)

Known as the Spiritual Army of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our legionaries glorify God by prayer and active cooperation with Mary’s and the Church’s works. Membership in the praesidium is open to the youth, adults of both sexes. It you desire to be part of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s army, please get in touch with Sis Chari Gregorio and Sis Susan Mira.

MOTHER BUTLER GUILD

The MBG takes care that the celebration of the Eucharist is accorded the dignity it highly deserves by providing priestly vestments, sacred vessels , flowers, among others.
