IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHAPEL, Barangay West Crame, San Juan City

The Immaculate Conception Chapel located in Barangay West Crame, San Juan City is under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Santuario de San Jose Parish. Its principal patroness is the Immaculate Conception with St. Mary Magdalene as secondary patroness. The chapel’s feast day is on December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

History

In 1992, it was reconstructed under the efforts of the officers and members of the Pastoral Council of the chapel headed by Colonel Orlando V. Sionosa as President with Reverend Father Vicente L. Tungohl as Spiritual Adviser and Lieutenant Colonel Simeon D. Diesta as Lay Adviser. In June 1993, the chapel was completed under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Constantino Conti, OSJ, then parish priest of Santuario de San Jose. On December 6, 1993, the chapel was blessed by His Eminence Jaime Cardinal Sin. Since then, regular Sunday masses officiated by the Oblates of St. Joseph have been held in the chapel. The chapel’s feast day is on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

SACRED HEART CHAPEL, Barangay West Crame, San Juan City


The new chapel is located at Barangay West Crame, San Juan City. It was built by Atty. Arturo and Mrs. Susan del Rosario for the people of Barangay West Crame and its neighboring areas. It was blessed by His Excellency Bishop Teodoro M. Bacani, Jr. on November 8. 1998. In 2010, the Saint Joseph Pastoral Center, built in memory of Atty. Arturo del Rosario, Sr., by Mrs. del Rosario and family, the Parish Pastoral Council of Santuario de San Jose, parish organizations and other benefactors of San Juan City and Barangay West Crame, was consecrated to the Lord by then parish priest Reverend Fr. Noel B. Magtaas, OSJ, on March 19, 2010 on the Solemnity of St. Joseph the Patriarch.

HOLY FAMILY CHAPEL, Greenhills Shopping Center


In the early 1990s, Ortigas & Co. decided to build the chapel in response to the desire of the shoppers to hear Mass in the shopping center. Head of chapel services is Mona Lauraya with more than 100 volunteers serving in various ministries including the Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion, Lectors, Greeters, Music and Altar servers. Since then, sacraments and services have been offered with present schedules as follows:

Monday to Saturday: Holy Mass at 12:15 nn
2nd and 4th Tuesday: Healing Mass at 6:00 pm
Wednesday: Prayer of the Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm
Thursday: Holy Mass at 6:30 pm
Adoration of the Holy Eucharist at 7:30 pm
1st Friday: Holy Mass at 5:30 pm
Saturday: Novena to St. Pio of Pietrelcina at 5:15 pm
Anticipated Sunday Mass at 4:00 p.m., 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm
Sunday: Holy Mass at 9:00 am, 12:30 pm, 4:00 p.m. 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm

Confession and Prayers for Blessings may be requested after the Holy Mass.
